I don't know what 16 hands means. Or 13 hands. I don't claim to know it all.
Hands are how you measure a horse’s height. A horse that is under 14.2 is a pony, but over is a true horse. A 16 hand horse is pretty tall, 15 is in between, and 14 is a shorter one.

this was very vague just trying to give you an idea of what it means 😂

I was bareback and got bucked off. I got a broke bone which also dislocated my elbow. It went through my muscle out the other side of my arm. I got surgery and stitches because the bone stuck out of the arm. I am doing okay now. I am guessing that she spooked. I don’t get a cast until 3 weeks abacuses of stitches and risk of infection so I have a splint.
Oh no!! Feel better soon! :hugs

I stayed on a stubborn horse while on a trail ride. Her name was Snippy. She was rearing up, & being all sorts of a brat. It was like a mini rodeo.
I think I was 11yrs old when that happened. It was when I was living in Oregon.
My experience with staying on horses involves one attempt where he cantered unexpectedly, but I calmed him down, and one failed attempt where he spooked. My friend says I did a backflip but I don't believe her.
