sorry if this is off topic from the current conversation

but why do chickens "sing a egg song"

Some think the egg song is away of discouraging predators away from the nest when a hen lays an egg, but no one really knows the reason.

Pretty great! Yesterday was my birthday, and it’s sunny out and warm. I get to spend lots of time with the chickens!
