That's a chimnea that sits on my front porch. The chickens have decided it makes a great
nest box. I bet they were none to happy to see the new babysitter in there when they came
to lay eggs today!

Haha...no, we left her alone. We're snake-friendly around here. She's been living in my garden for the last few months and every now and then we see her on the porch at night. I think she appreciates having her pick of the toads that hang around the garden pond. She's friendly enough..doesn't fuss too much when we pick her up. She had already downed 4 eggs, so I figured she was about done and would move along back to the garden pretty soon. This is the first time I've seen her in the chimnea. (That was a bit of a surprise.)
