Farmer's Casserole

Question Mr. mom......in the recipe it says milk....then later it says evaporated. Since I am not the seasoned chef you are...is there a difference or a typo?

Funny guy.

I actually copied and pasted this recipe because it was similar to the one I got out of the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook and I changed the parts that I needed to so it would look like the one I used. BH&G said that they could be substituted for each other but I just used milk. Thanks for pointing out my typo- I'll go change it now. I know that you can use evaporated milk but I used 2%.

sounds good!

That looks good! I will need to make a trip to the store, but it will be after the snowstorm that is moving in.
I have never purchased frozen hashbrowns. Is there one brand that is better than the others?

We had the casserolle for our dinner and I'd give it a

. I used hamberger, but I'd like to try it with the ham. I think with ham I'd give it an even bigger

. My hubby liked it too...and he can be kind of hard to please when it comes to casserolles.
