Lovely thread Idea~ I live on a 40 acre farm with too many chickens to count, 10 turkeys, 32 call ducks and 12 standard ducks, A couple dozen guinea hens, a few ornamental pheasants, Geese, and will hopefully be adding 2 emus this February. Besides poultry I have a couple of Jersey cows, a Duroc boar and a Duroc x hampshire gilt that I plan on using as a breeding pair (Think the gilt might already be pregnant :fl ) two horses, Arab mixes, and goats :D Might be adding two ewes this spring as well~

So when I was about 7 my parents went to D. C. Mid summer. So I stayed at my grandmas house and all my other siblings got to stay home. We had a bad summer storm. The power went out and on top of that we had a heifer in labor. The calf was huge and stuck my oldest doesn’t like the cows so me and her had to call the neighbors on my grandmas old house phone. My sister was pulling the calf but couldn’t get it out by the time the neighbors got ther3 they just got the calf out it was perfect timing cause the calf barley survived and any longer wouldn’t have. The power was out so after having there hands in the cows but they couldn’t wash them so we got a room at the towns motel and it was like 90 degrees out and they were slimy ang sweetly so instead of showering we all jumped in the pool.
