When I caught perch in the UP They froze in the bucket but came back to life when thawed. I remember drilling through 3' of ice to hit water. perch and trout are a great catch...

I enjoyed fishing in MN. We went up to Ely a lot when I was younger.

I enjoy them both. We had a lot of fun Ice fishing back in the day, but can't do it down here, so I guess regular these days. I like the fish, that's the most important part.
