Thank you. I appreciate that!I’ll try to get a better one.
But are both of the back toes up like my chick's are? I'm just trying to figure out if this is okay or not.Mine has her 5th toe stick up too
Oh jeeze now I'm getting everyone to send me their chicken foot pics. I promise there is nothing weird going on here!!!I’ll try to get a good pic…if only she will stay still![]()
Oh yeah I can see that! It still kind of looks like the smaller toe is touching the ground though, at least from what I can see. Does she do okay with roosting at night? Here’s a couple of just her feet. She was walking but you can still see the last toe poking up:

She was the first one to learn to roost! Lol. I thought the 5th toe looked weird because it isn’t flat down like the rest, but I’m pretty sure it’s normal after looking at pics of other SF!Oh yeah I can see that! Polly’s beard went from this:I wondered if that was possible, but figured she was just hatchery qualityI think the beard looks so much more fun when it’s white and contrasting against the darker feathers
I so far love my Orloff too! She isn’t very spangled yet, but I know the first molt usually changes that some. I read a lot about how they’re so independent and not cuddly and such but she’s been just as sweet as my SF and she’s adorableshe was also the most adorable baby hehe. I definitely recommend them to beard loving chicken people
