The Pattersons are in IN, and they will probably be there. There aren't many long term breeders left.Thank you for your help I am really wanting to make this work and want really good birds This is my new hobby and I Love my Faverolles but want to have nice birds so i could possibly show or breed good stock there are no Faverolle breeders in my area so i am going to keep looking, Do you know if there will be any birds for sale at the show in Ohio? I am thinking of taking a drive to see what the nationals are all about and once again thank you.
Leisha is correct - neither of those is mahogany. They are salmons.I hate to tell you this, but unless they really change, they are not mahogany
Since we are talking about mahoganies I felt like I should dig up some old pictures that are much further back in this thread. These are some Mahoganies from BuckCreekChickens (Here on BYC) and EweSheep but I believe the picture is orginally from Dick. Hope they won't mind me using them for educational purposes. I still don't know much about the BB Red color but these are some good pictures of the more fiery color of the males.
