I ended up keeping one salmon girl from the eggs I got from you, and her first chicks are in the brooder now. She is awesome! Here's a couple pics of her a few months ago:

We had been tossing around whether or not to do hatching eggs this year. I am training a family milk cow on average every 6 weeks and a goat a month and farrowing 7-8 litters of piglets a year (not me personally but my sows!

) Hatching chicks, ducklings, and goslings for the local folks and just staying generally busy with that pesky full time day job. So maybe just for those who already know us... so the short answer is I have the GCMs and I'd be happy to get you some eggs when you are ready!

Hello everyone. I'm a Faverolle newbie and thought I would say hello. I'm currently looking to add some blue to my little flock. I've got a few breeds other than the favs (white face black Spanish, marans, a few crested breeds, phoenix and Silkies and b/bw Ameruacanas. ) I'm planning to reduce my crested flock to zero and focus on something new. I'm currently looking to get some "blue" eggs and I'm very very excited. I'm planning it for a few weeks away.

Leisha, did you ever have any unexpected whites pop up out of your blacks? I had a greyish chick hatch about 3 weeks ago that I thought was a splash but now I'm not so sure. Wing feathers and body feathers so far look pure white.
