I would suggest trying some inexpensive, local eggs first for practice. Sometimes there are some kinks in the incubation process that need to be worked out before a successful hatch.

X2. Your first hatch should ideally be with eggs that aren't as "important" as the ones you REALLY want.

I'm just a lurker but I do agree X3 that you should just hatch something inexpensive and not very important. My first hatch was Seramas. BAD choice!!

Hoping to begin hatching in a couple of weeks. Can't wait. It's suppose to be in the 50's this weekend. Snow is starting to disappear. Now I can spend time getting the rest of my breeding pens together. If I can get that done this weekend I'll be happy.

Dick, it will be warm tomorrow thru Friday, maybe Saturday, then it's back to reality again. I'm going to try to get the rest of mine set up next week (Feb vacation). Once I know the eggs are good I'll collect some for you.

You just let me know when you're ready for me to come pics up a couple girls. My schedule is pretty open

Hope your spring is easier than your winter.

Melissa has a 24 hour auction listed in BST now if anyone is interested. I remember there were some people looking for LF eggs, but I forget who they were.
