Wow! So then the ducklings go to a new owner?A trio of Muscovys works great for me. They hatch more than I need so I have plenty to sell. The drake only mates them a time or two a week that I see anyhow. And they are never torn up from over mating. In fact the only evidence that he is mating "aside from fertile eggs and ducklings lol" is his dirty foot prints on their backs. No missing or torn up feathers. With no competition for breeding rights he doesn't feel the need to mate them every ten minutes. As soon as they hatch I take them away and with in a week or two they are setting again. These two girls hatched 66 duckling "set three times" in 2016. I've had some hatches, of a single hen, over 20 in one setting before as well.
