I love Leghorns and once I finish my new coop I want to add one or two. It’s so funny, I wanted a mixed flock so that I could get every colored egg and I’m going to end up with 5 blue egg layers

I was the same, but now I'm down to one white layer, as my silver spangled hamburg lays white, but her sister the gold spangled lays cream tinted.

My mom said no more than 7 chickens but I just got an incubator And I’m going to get Bantams for my prefab coop.

Isn't he? I was going to put him in this spring's breeding pens, but unfortunately he's not a healthy bird. So, I chose the second-best cockerel instead.

I am fairly certain I have mixed breed bantams (I got them at Atwoods and just picked some cute ones I liked, lol) and they are THE BEST. I have RIR's and they're cool, but the little bantams have so much personality and I love them!

I absolutely adored my GLW bantam rooster, he was so much fun, he enjoyed sitting in my lap and being hand fed muscadines as well as swinging on my swing. I currently have a BCM cockerel and i've had him from day one,and he is SO much fun, he knows his name and comes when called, and loves being pet while perched on my finger

My Birchen Silkie cockerel was so sweet and he loved to watch tv with me.
