I'm sorry but are you saying it will not be a splash or will be? If not a splash, will it be a dark BLR Wyandotte?

It looks like sooo o o o much fun

There was a differencein our Black and Blue copper Marans from the beginning.
I would assume there would be a difference between the blue and splash.

I now see a tiny pip on an ameracuana egg. The Marans is just one big hole without the zip and the Wyandotte is always sitting on top of that hole.... I hope he doesn't smother the Marans...

One Marans out..

One with a very large pip. One Welsummer with a pip and the One Ameracauna with a pip that is now slightly larger...

This is the start of Day 22 so we will see what I have when I get back from work.... Pics to follow. Not a great hatch for the number of eggs set so far....

Day 23.

I had to help one of the Marans out of the egg and thought that it was not going to make it. He actually looks good today so I think he should be fine. I have one more Marans pip this am but am not sure if it will hatch. Other then that no other action.

Total for this hatch.

1/12 BLR Wyandottes from Fay hatched and looks fantastic. Lets hope that it is a pullet.

1/7 Ameracaunas hatched. 1/8 broke by the Post Office. He does not look good and when you look at the picture he has some intestine looking stuff on his rear end.

1/7 Welsummers hatched. This one looks like a pullet per Whitmore farms web site. 1/8 broken by the Post Office.

3/6 Marans hatched. I had to help one of them. 2/6 broken by the post office.

So I ordered 36 eggs and had 6 hatch.

Not very good. But you have to consider the Post Office Played Rugby with the box....

I have another at least 36 coming this coming week....

Day 23 and the pip on the Marans or Welsummer is zipping....... but wait......... ANOTHER PIP!!!! This one in a Marans. I can't believe the late pip. I was almost ready to clean up the bator.....
