Has anyone had any experience with making one at home? There are a few interesting videos on You-Tube and some of them look quite simple to make. But having no experience using this type of device, it seems that the chicken gets bounced around quite a bit. What about the meat? Does the bird get so beat up that the meat is damaged? Looking into making one later on this year, but was curious to know how much damage it did to the carcass. Does anyone have any experience with this type of feather plucker?

If you use the plucker correctly, there is no damage to the birds. (learned that the hard way)
