feathers by 3 days old???

my golden cuckoo maran seems to have feathers wings already??!! how soon do feathers start??

Mine had the beginnings of pin feathers at one day old. They shoot up quick, blink and you’ll miss it!
One day old:

Four days old:

One week old: (today)

I almost always have feathers by three days, and Marans is a fast feathering breed. Completely normal.

I have 3 partridge rock chicks and one of them is feathering way faster than the other two.
She started getting all her wing feathers and even had “shoulder?” feathers and tail feathers starting at 1 week.

Feathers seem to start coming in by 3 days... How many feathers are you talking?? Is there anyway that they could be older than you know?
This is a 3 days old chick...
