I woke up this morning to 1 pipped egg Here we go!

Just got testet positiv for corona. Now I am at home für lockdown and hatch day, always looking for the postiv things

Awesome you get to be home but the reason sucks. I’m sorry. I had the omicron variant last month. Thankfully it wasn’t too bad. For cider seemed to help the most

I’ve got 2 wiggling (white in carton & peach right above) possibly 1 pip? I’m so excited

2 pipped so far. I was really hoping the one from this morning would be farther along, but he seems to be taking his time, though he is making progress. I turned on some chick chirping sounds for them and am making excuses to peek in to the incubator every 30 mins or so, lol.

Update. One of the 20 eggs had died. I opended the egg but could not see a reason why.

One of the 19 has hatched. The first chick of this year. It hatched early this morning and it was still a little wet. Welcome little one!!!

I went to bed with 4 eggs pipped and woke up to these 2 little cuties. The other two pipped eggs are still trying, just slow. The other three I haven’t seen any movement at all. Seeing as today is day 22, I would have to assume if they don’t pip by tonight, than they’re probably not going to?

In my first hatch I had one that BYC told me to wait til like day 25 in case it was just a slow hatch...it never did.
On candling I saw where it had not internally pipped.
Have u checked your two?

I’m not pullin at straws on this one it is an actual pip so far the other 2 are still just wiggling. I thought for sure I’d wake up to one of them hatching

I haven’t checked them yet. I didn’t want to pop open the incubator too many times since I have chicks actively hatching. One of the three in question has now pipped, so I am holding out hope for the other 2. Chick number 3 is now out
