We've got three hatched, and one almost there. Still only the two pips I can see, one more from the mixed Silkies and one from the Araucana eggs.

Just filled my NR360 with 22 eggs. All backyard mix from my own flock, the chicks will all be green/olive eggers. Super excited! First batch of the year Hatch date 21st

I LOVE EASTER EGGERS of all colors! What are your olives a mix of?

Put all my remaining eggs on lockdown today. I have been away for a week and hubby has been candling/checking humidity while I was away. I was desperately hoping that some would be wiggling, tapping or chirping by now but sadly not. There are three eggs that were too dark to see through but I can see they have some veins. Left them in. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST PART of incubating. Lockdown is so high anxiety lol.

Edit: fyi they’re one day 18 today lol. I was just optimistic for early chirps. I have a tendency to get overexcited when it comes to hatching.

Also… already purchased more eggs… oops. Incoming is 6 nankin, 6 birchen bantam Cochin. Then after that is 12 silver Mille fleur/blue silver Mille fleur d’uccle. Gonna try a staggered hatch for that I think. Oops again.

I have 3 broody Cochin Bantams and a broody Blue Maran. Literally what are they thinking? On Wednesday the low is supposed to be -15'F or something.

I had one start pipping at day 18, and the hatch was today for a few, day 19, so it can happen lol I’m jealous for your Mille fleurs!

My Peacocks have been fanning out on display, and my geese started laying "frozen" eggs. My husband said it was because of the weird solar flares from the sun?! Hasn't that always happened though? So weird.

Five of the mixed Silky eggs have now hatched. My araucana egg is close, it’s wiggling a lot now. No new pips yet otherwise but we’re still only just day 19/20 very shortly (in 20 minutes lol)
