February 2022 Hatch-A-Long

Pics
A little update on the lone serama. I wasn't really sure what I would wake to as he seemed so weak. Well jokes on me. He was just a chirping away and sitting holding his head up. I transferred him to the brooder as he seemed so sad. Everyone greeted him and they all went back to their heat plate and now sleeping. I'll grab a picture a little later after he sleeps and mingles a little. :)
:wee

Thank you. At 2.30 this morning I put my little chick into the bottom of my shirt which I curled up (can't really explain too well sorry) to keep him warm between dipping his beak into the honey water and yolk. As soon as I put him in he struggled forward and rested his head upon my hand. Next thing I knew he was gone. I wish I hadn't left him for the 3 hours last night because he was looking to improve when I put him back out. He was chirping away and even trying to stand.

Yes, I did post a thread in the emergency thread but got no help on what to do.
My heart just sank reading that.😢 I'm sorry💗

Eggs are due to hatch on Thursday!!

Can someone help me out though? 😂😂

So if I set the eggs 3 weeks ago this Thursday at, say, around 6:30 in the evening, is day 21 up this Thursday at 6:30 P.M.?

I'm using a NR360, and it says 4 days till hatch, so is Wednesday night through Thursday night day 21 counted as 0? In other words, do I unplug the turner now and put them in lockdown? When do I raise the humidity? Thanks!!

@CluckNDoodle

It's on a timer and will stop turning automatically but I typically put my incubator on lockdown on day 17, the night before because I like to candle the the eggs before lockdown. I just wait to increase humidity until the following day.
