Nice eggs! I wish I could order a selection of eggs like that in one place.

I think the postal service here was really rough with this batch of eggs since so many air cells were completely detached with free floating bubbles. I have had mixed success in the past with shipped eggs, but almost always resulting in at least a few chicks. This is my second time out of a few dozen to have 0 develop.

I candled a couple of my shipped eggs and noticed small jiggly air cells. I believe these eggs were laid on 2/16 and 2/17 so I'm going to wait until tmrw to set them. The air cells in the local eggs look fine/don't move. Local seller told me her rooster is quite the amorous fellow, not that I could tell the difference between a fertile and unfertile egg anyways. 😂🤞

Umm... I wanted to ask a quick question, you know how I'm new. What is a blood ring because in one of my fertile eggs there was a red ring. I wanted to know what that is and if blood rings are bad so I can watch out for them. Can any of you send a picture of a blood ring so I can see what they look like? Just wondering

People get excited about rings. but if there is only a blood ring, that is a blood ring. if you have a thick cord in the egg, but there is other veins, it is not a blood ring.
