February hatch-a-long 2018

my incubator has been set up for a few days and is running I dont plan to have eggs to set until the 10th though.

8 out of 22 have hatched so far!!

Candled my eggs today (Day 4) and I am sooo excited!!!! 9 out of 12 had veins, and I am going to give the others time. Pictures attached!

I read somewhere that a red ring around the embryo meant there was bacteria inside or something, don't really remember... can someone who knows what they are doing tell me if these guys look alright? :D :D

It's always so exciting to see 'the spider'. Don't stress about any 'rings' yet - it could just be a big vein that goes all the way around. You'll know if the embryo has died because the veins will start to look thin and then start to fade, and the embryo itself looks like a black spot rather than a red/pink splodge.
