Good luck! Bantam cochins are the cutest chicks and their parents are gorgeous. Can't wait to see some photos.

I have 24 in the bator now, due in 2 weeks (2/19). I'll be candling tonight to see how many are viable and weighing to see if humidity needs to go down. It's my first time

I've had some due today and yesterday, but none have pipped or unzipped.. don't know why. How long do I wait? Today is day 20. Normally I'd have some come out by now! I think I started these at 10:30PM so I guess I'll give it until 10:30PM to start freaking out. lol JK

I had a chick hatch yesterday on day 26. Don't worry. The like to string you on. lol.

I've got some duck eggs I set to hatch on the 1st, they take 28 days, so if everything works out right, they'll take exactly a month to hatch It's my first time hatching duck eggs, we hatched quail eggs about a month ago and had a 50% hatch rate (22 (1 died after about 2 days) out of 40). I have 12 eggs in the incubator and am keeping a detailed journal on how many times I turned, temp, humidity, etc. Can't wait for the ducklings!
