FEBRUARY Hatch-A-Long, come join in!!

Wooooo hooo!

Yes, it IS exciting and oh-so-rewarding, isn't it!!

Wish I had some good photos of my 5 week old TJs chicks to share. I am proud of all the chicks I have hatched, but I am especially pleased with those four!

I'd love to see them! Then my son and I could see what type of chickens we have to look forward to

if you have any pics, and if you don't mind, my son could probably use them for his science project also, which is why we're incubating them to begin with

Liamm_1~ I will do a quick snatch & grab once a couple hatched shells have accumulated... it doesn'te bother them, and my humidity maybe drops 2.... nothing major.

Everyone~ woke up to 3 more hatched and at least 5 pipped! Finally some from Group 2 are joining in the fun!

Its day 20 and got my first pip. I'm really hpoing its a NN and that she ends up white. This is the first time I have had one pip on day 20 usually its day 21 or 22. Am super excited. I have more going lockdown on the 18th and more on the 22nd.

I'm right in the middle of day 22. So far, of my 15 TJ's eggs, 5 chicks are out, 5 more pipped and trying to break free, 5 TBD. Pretty happy with the results so far. We had big temp swings at times, at least 2-3 temp spikes with thermometer readings of up to 107°. Many lows down to 93°-94°. I guess this isn't rocket science after all
