7 eggs have gone into lockdown.....

I have ten in lockdown too, due on Friday.

Came home to a new total of hatched chickies wobbling around the bator!

21 chicks out of 31 eggs so far!! only 10 left to go!!! and most of them are pipped!! (would have been 33, but one pipped egg got crushed by a hen, and the hen killed the first hatched.

Knowing that those two would have been hatched out and still alive, had I not made my mistake, the running total would be 23 out of 33.

No pics of the 2 that died... one was crushed by my BG hen, and the other disappeared(thinking BG hen ate it).

Just got my shipped eggs today. I hope the cold weather didn't kill them. They will be going into my incubator tomorrow with a few of my own eggs. If all goes well I should see a hatch date of march 3rd..
