Anybody planning a hatch in February? I am hoping too, but don't have any dates set for certain yet.

Chick 3 hatched this afternoon.


Chick 4 looks like they're beginning to zip and that'll be last of this week's hatch.
My 3 fridge eggs (from local farm) are developing, but still have two weeks to go.

My eggs are due on the 26th so if they hatch well maybe we will finish in February lol.

I don't know the breed, one of trio of "mystery" eggs from MyPetChicken. Probably going to have to wait for feathers to have a decent idea.

Chick 4 hatched late last night. All nice & fluffy this morning.


The three fridge eggs are one week into development and looking good.




Took a short vid of one of the chicks wiggling around inside its egg.

Hopefully I'll be adding some silkie eggs in a few days, but those will be March chicks.

Day 20 - One of 6 has started to hatch and I can hear it chirping in the incubator. I really hope we have more than just one so it's not alone. I'm so excited, worse than a kid at Christmas
