February Hatch-A-Long

Anybody planning a hatch in February? I am hoping too, but don't have any dates set for certain yet.

Everyone is out and fluffy! Out of the 20 fertile, 19 hatched! I’m super happy with that! Just a few pics!

My hatch is complete! 100% hatch rate, 100% fertility rate. Super vigorous chicks, too. This one hatched about 1.5 hours before taking the pic. Lol. Looks like it’s mama, besides the bib. any pullets I get out of this group will be part of my breeding program and going in with one of my 2 pure hedemora cockerels, when grown.

Woohoo! My 2.1 nugget has hatched! Waiting with bated breath for my 2.5 egg!

I think it's Paint, but it could potentially also be Splash or very light Partridge - hard to tell right now!

11 out of 12 have hatched, no pip or anything on the remaining cream legbar egg but I'll candle and wait a bit as the Marans only hatched not long ago (dry though)

Day 21 and I woke up to 5 chicks, 2 hatched yesterday, and more pips! The second Pita/OE is so unique! Half of its beak is black. Rockstar chicken! The first Welsummer looks to be a boy, it’s pretty light.
