I thought of 2 more names for my chickens. "Christina Egulara" CL, and for the black Barbezieux "Sheryl Crow."

Just out of curiosity, how frequently does one here peeping from a chick who has only barely pipped?

Usually right after they pip they are quiet but you may see them chewing if you can see their beak they are absorbing the yolk 12 hours later to 24 hours depending on the chick they will get really loud and start working their way out. When they get loud they are working on zipping

I finally got pics of some of my chicks that hatched from 2/13 thru 2/15 making them 3 to 5 days old now. A total of 16 hatched out 28.
