Fed chickens a snake

I was about to give my 2 cents about Venom in the circulatory system vs Venom in the Digestive system (like if you swallow snake venom) but then I realized I only know about Pit Vipers in the USA (copperheads, Rattlers, Cotton Mouth Water Moccasins) so I shall not comment on the snakes of OZ (that's Australia). Now I am all curious but to tired to look stuff up, hopefully I remember this in the morning so I can go look it up. Thats the whole reason why I posted because I will get alerts by morning and remember took up the type of Venom and Aussie brown snake has.

Thanks! I think it’s venom works as an anti-coagulant (probably more to it then this).

I don't think venom meant to enter the bloodstream can do anything in the digestive tract - that's how people can eat scorpions stinger and all with no I'll effects.
If the chickens aren't fussed, I doubt there'll be an issue... Did one of them get the head?

Snakes are meat, and meat is definitely something chickens eat since they are omnivores, just like us humans. Even a venomous snake is okay to eat. I once ate a Mohave Green rattle snake, the most venomous snake in North America, (fried in batter) and I lived to tell the tale. (No, snake does not taste like chicken. It tastes like snake.)

Wow! Brave soul! Did you eat the head too?

I am not familiar with your Australian Brown snake but the poison is not in the meat, it's stored in or near the head. It has to be close to the fangs. If the snake bit itself then the meat may be dangerous but is that really likely?

If the head was cut off and not fed to the chickens I would not worry about it.

Did your chickens eat the head? That is the only place they will get to the venom. I'm guessing not, as they are all alive still. The eggs will not be affected, unless the chickens ingest venom. Even then, I don't think, if they live long enough to lay, that it will kill a full grown human, to eat the eggs.
