Feed Pricing - looking ahead

Oh, that does seem bad. Do they have 2 mills? I get mine from Virginia. I'm guessing that is where you got yours.
The mash came from Virginia. The pellets are all done in Texas where their pelletizing machine is, but took a stop through Virginia to pick up my swine feed.

I'm confused. You live in Ohio and are buying feed made in Texas?
You're not confused. That's right, I was. It was made there, but the company is based in Virginia.

Edit to add: on a large scale, ordering in bulk through the mill as I mentioned in my initial comment, is often much cheaper than buying bags from TSC and other feed stores per lb. Not doable for a small flock, I realize, but very doable for larger flocks. I appreciate the interest in the organic mills I've used and no longer use and would be happy to start a new thread if anyone has further questions anout that so I don't take the thread further OT. (Sorry @U_Stormcrow - probably should have done that before now.)
