Started wrestling with sewing in middle school. Burned the dress teacher made us sew and wear on a specific day. It was embarrassing. Hubby bought me a sewing machine for Christmas one year. Finally trashed it. I'm 68 now. If I can't hand stitch it I don't sew it. Buttons, rips, simple hems, ok.

I took sewing classes in high school, and I also made my Christmas choir dress because I was in that also. Later as an adult, I made my own kitchen curtain's. I also know how to do hand embroidery in different stitches. I haven't done much sewing the past few year's though.

I can crochet. Designed and crafted a dog sweater made to fit my sons dog. But I don't have any skills for a sewing machine.

I bet feed bags could be seemed together to make a table cloth. It would look neat on a picnik table or even a fashionable farm style dining table.
I need to make a scare crow for our garden soon. It think I could incorporate a feed bag as a shirt.

Maybe the people up north that get snow during the winter could use them to set their snow covered boots on to catch the water that melt's off the boot's? They might work for mud covered boot's also.

I'd love to see this returning....if I could sew. I've never been able to properly wrestle with a sewing machine.

I can't use a sewing machine...someone posted a bag they sewed by hand. I want to make an apron!!! my sister sews very well but she doesn't do anything for anyone else.

Another one I forgot. Underneath the dog cage in my kitchen the first day I brought new baby pullets home.

Another great idea! It seems like the same material as the "upside down" tomato bags that have been so popular.

That method of growing might be useful in keeping plants out of the reach of free-range chickens.

An actual set of "froggs toggs" though would be really cool.

They would sure be a LOT tougher than the weak, thin material they use for Frogg Toggs. Mine shredded pretty easily. It would look hilarious going down the highway too.
