feeding cracked corn?

I feed 22% nutrina feed. Plus a coffee can full mixture of cracked corn and oats. every day . I get an egg a day. from every hen. in hot weather & long days. I also give them some jalipino pepper(sams club) 1 time a week for worms & warmth.

I must add that as you probably figured out, this shipping doesn't go on all year. It starts in late Aug. and runs till about the end of Jan. I don't know what they are feeding in their down time but the chickens are in the fields year round. Not much snow accumulates due to the wind. I stopped and bought eggs when I first started this hobby and they didn't seem to be to friendly so I didn't seem to be welcome to ask questions. To each their own. I could talk chickens for hours, but the wife says I am just crazy. (ADDICTED)!!!!!

My ladies, I think have gone on strike
got 2 eggs -18 of my breakfast makers.and at 7 in the morning they
were already frozen.

I feed them Leyena and toss 3 cups of scratch twice a week.
During this cold we are having now but other wise
I only feeD them greens from the kitchen and their leyena.layer feed.
and their 2tab.sp. ACV in their water.

They eat the corn but not the food in my case so I am only giving limited corn!
