Feeding Mother and babies?

OK, so the babies will hatch soon. Then I will be having the babies with their mother in a little coop. How do I feed them? Give them all chick food including Mom? Put out chick food low down and layer food higher where only Mom can reach it? What's the way it's supposed to go?

Good question! I'm just giving them all chick starter. I tried giving them separate containers with layer higher up for her, but she just knocks it all down to the ground for them, so I gave up.
