feeding whole corn

we have a bag of whole corn to feed to our chickens and guineas as a treat the reason its whole corn is the feed store gave it to me it its a small bag 5 lbs
it would be aright or would it be to big?

I fed quite a bit of whole corn this winter, the girls loved it and we had no problems

I have heard some people say that buying whole corn is better as it losses nutrition when ground.
I only give corn in the winter as digesting it creates body heat. My girls like oats soaked in water a few days. I just keep a bucket with oats and water for them.

I also fed mine whole corn and they loved it. Had no problems.
