Boy I wish my roo was that colorful! He's mostly red with a little gray. My Esmeralda, my gypsy chicken of KW is my fave. She is blue with black on her feather tips,(not sure what thats called)She and her sister where the last ones we caught. All these years I've let her go broody and hatch her eggs, hoping to get another one like her but I guess with Smokey's coloring its not possible. Most end up blackish or blueish with none of her pretty pattern. I gave up last year and got me some true araucanas this year. If anyone want to see pictures of kw chickens go to 'the chicken store' website. I started getting my chickens from her the last few times I got some.
