I find that I get better hatch results if I wait two weeks after they start breeding, but had a decent hatch after 1 week.

Technically, 48 hours. A lot depends on your location. What is your general location? If it's winter where you are, then fertility will not be as good. You could wait a couple of days, then check for fertility by cracking an egg into a frying pan and look for the Blastoderm.

Welcome to BYC. Not positive, but much of what I have read indicates eggs will be fertile within 72 hours of a successful mating.
