O...M...G... I can't believe I have never heard of baking with the wax paper like that before! I didn't have wax paper, so I used parchment paper, and the whole thing just flipped right out, no crumbs...
I could just hug you...

Now I can't wait to try the cake... it's cooling, waiting for hubby... maybe not...

for the yellow cake. I cheated and bought confetti frosting at the store as I was running out of time (and it's a family favorite!)... it was SOO good.

I haven't made a cake from scratch in I don't know how long, and this was easy. Love it... thank you for sharing!
