I have been waiting to get some Plymouth Barred Rocks for a while, and they had some today at the feed store! I am in LOVE! All three are doing great in the brooder and I’m half tempted to go get some more tomorrow!!

Cute chicks, but they are not barred rocks. Barred rock chicks are black with varied size white head spots.

Congratulations! Your chicks are very cute, but I am not sure they look like Barred Plymouth Rocks. Yours look more like a blue breed in the picture. Barred Rock chicks (at least the one I had) tend to be darker, like the ones in the picture, and a white dot on the head (at least on female chicks).

I have a Blue Plymouth Rock that looked like that as a chick...Now she is 5 weeks and cute, but feisty!

Well you have to wait a little longer because those are not barred rocks. I love blue chicks though. I have 5 production blues and they're gorgeous
