“No” he takes a closer look at Heather. “Willow?” He asks, “is that you?!” Heather looked surprised. She did certainly look like her mother. “No, I’m her daughter”
"I knew your mother since she was a day old. She was a wonderful character, but her loyalty lay in her keepers and flock, Heather, is that where your loyalties lie too?" His voice quieted as he said these things, but he guarded his gaze, to show total focus, instead of distance. It seemed as though he had practiced saying these things for a long time, but some Heather knew he hadn't. Neither she nor Timmy had noticed the volume difference. (Is that ok?)
