Honey helped Amber up. Trying not to laugh
The shy and slightly trampled Amber mumbled "thanks" and ruffled her feathers, then straightened them out. Unfortunately there was a loose feather or two, and a bit of muck on her, plus she felt slightly bruised. She managed to pluck out the loose feathers, but she still looked quite disheveled.

*next morning* honey woke up to a persistent pecking on her head. It was Macie. “HONEY! HONEY! The chicks!” She clucked, ”they’re gone!” “Calm down” said honey, “they’re with me” she lifted her wing and revealed plucker, clucker, tucker and bob. They barely fit under her wing. Tucker was starting to learn to crow and really looked like a rooster now. His ‘fro had come in and he was golden like his mom. He looked like a true polish-Orpington cross. The others looked the same.
