OMG, i watched the first video before reading anything. I was in tears , holding my belly, praying for your house and animals. thankfully you all survived and everyone is safe!!!!
Having family who lost homes in the fires in san diego , i was wrenching with fear watching that! So sad to hear an old building was lost but thankfully you and your is OK!

I just saw this and hope and pray that you are ok and the house is still ok. As you know, we have many fires here in Northern California and I have been evacuated. Boy, you don't really understand the fear and what it is like until you've been there.

Well, *sigh* I guess at this point, you just have to slog through it, ill tempered insurance adjuster and all. Be as nice as you can. I know it won't be easy. As much as you'd like to give him a piece of your mind at his lack of courtesy, it doesn't pay to make him mad. They can make it all the more difficult to get that check. Smarmy little turds!! I've never been fond of claims adjusters...can ya tell?

Hope there are no more flair ups in your area. At least now, you're a little less vulnerable to wildfires since this one has pretty much cleansed the area of undergrowth for the next few years. Hang in there sweetie! Brighter days will return soon. I think maybe the worst is over.

Had a fire.... Totally with you.. It will be okay... One day at a time.. You will fly by the seat of your pants for a while... Special side note... Antique furniture is worth less than new... JUst a note.. If you are making a lost list... Thought it might be helpful.
