I'm new, but I just wanted to say never give up on your eggs. I had a turkey setting on eggs this spring. About 6 days before they were to hatch a coyote or possum or something killed her during the night. We didn't reallize it until late morning when we saw the feather trail from the thick patch of undergrowth where we new her nest was. Then we had to find the nest. I grabbed all nine eggs(were all cold) and quickly put them under a duck that was setting on 'nothing'. She hatched out 7 beautiful turkey babies, then a broody hen stole them from her one by one as they hatched!! It was a group effort but so well worth it! Good luck with yours!

!!! Only 6 more to go!!!!(give or take a few lol) I hope they hatch on New Years so badly!!! I'm thinking on names already lol

lol yeah were talkin chicken..OK so 1 more morning of getting up at 6am to turn the eggs. I'm so eggcited!!! What day do you think I'll get a pip oh wise one? lol
