I probably won't take them until sunday. I dont want to disturb the chicks still in the eggs. Although I might be able to get a few earlier. Every time I get near her she stands up and hisses which works to my advantage. This chick is not quite as dark as the first chick I hatched but much darker then the two most recent.

I'm nearvous about this hen though. This is her first time raising chicks. Either this is the hen that never incubated/raised chicks or is the one that attempted but all her eggs got killed. So I have no idea hoe well she is going to do. If all seven hatch I will leave five with this hen and put two under the other.

I see that all makes sense, this is of course my hens first time to soo we'll see how she does i do think she will be a good mama though.

Okay so I think all of them hatched. I took three of them and am going to raise them my self. I can't tell if they are all hatched but I did not see any eggs, just shells. I will get pics of everyone later today.

Checked under her and two chicks and two eggs still. All the chicks I took earlier appear to be girls. Pics will be here in a sec. I have to cut a zip tie off the eldest brahma chick and give him a leg band.
