First day out of coop and on grass

Ready to hit the grass I let this bunch out of a coop that is 48 inches off the ground. Instead of eating grass,scratching,chasing bugs etc ,,,,they GROUP Dust bathed. They made a mess ,dug a hole, had a Hoot!

What fun they had!

Mine did that today! They group dust bathed in my flower bed. Ugh. One of them didn't, though, she kept watch I think. It was so funny watching them writhe around together. haha!

I used a plastic tub with sand and DE in it cause mine were heading to China with the hole they had going. They prefer the tub now. Still a few small holes but the China tunnel excavation has stopped.
