cool, I was thinking about maybe ordering a few rare ones from there, but that shipping price made me shake lol

......for the price of 2 I could get 10 red POL sex links locally, theonly drawback was NO VARIETY lol
 
This is my biggest EE. Think she will be laying soon? I haven't noticed any squatting or egg song practicing yet.

I am happy with my girls at 23 weeks at least 3 of the 5 are laying! Waiting on a couple more.

Found the favorite nest box is a win win situation. Wine boxes! We drink wine they lay eggs!

Now we have some more chicks brooding in the coop so in a couple of months I will be countig down for the first eggs with the new ones.

Always interesting to read through others's posts
If my EE, NHR and BO were 15-20 weeks when they were shipped then they are 19-24 weeks now.
The EE have almost no crowns, nor do the BO but I see some red around the reds' eyes -haha-but their wattles and crowns are pretty small. Their feet are getting more yellow on the reds. Their bottoms are getting bigger. No crouching.
I got my pullets last year from Meyer. I wrote down when the first egg arrived but it is on my other calendar
Oh well, what can I do but watch and wait.
 
wine boxes lol good idea, hey I have a small vineyard i gotta take pics, its a row long 1/4 of an acre and another one in another spot same length in my yard, I need to take pics, you just reminded me!!
