Got my first egg today!! I was inordinately pleased in a way that only you all will understand! This is my first foray into raising chickens, and I am having a blast. Also, I had never tasted a farm fresh egg...EVER. Today was my first. My Russian Orloff, Natasha, is the proud layer of this beauty.

How old is she?

I am not sure .... I have had her for a month and a half..... I adopt all my pullets at an adoption shelter... She was around 31/2 to 4 months when I got her( guessing) ... She is the only one that looks like she is close to laying
