First Egg!!

Just found my first egg!

It was much earlier than I was expecting. They weren't acting any differently. Should I change their diet now?? They are just getting extra veggies and fruits with their grower/finisher. They get out of the coop for about 4 hours per day when I get home from work. Is the oyster shell necessary? What should I add to their diet?

Any advice would be great? Super proud of my ladies!!! Although, the one that I think laid the egg is very cranky tonight. I didn't get to hear her singing...maybe she's mad because I wasn't there, lol!

OH, congrats! Best tasting egg you'll ever have

You could switch them to layer feed now, or mix it in with what you have, and/or add oyster shell or clean crushed eggshell on the side to what you are feeding now until it's gone.
