I got the eggs from a guy who gave me the bator so I wasn't sure what was going to come out of the eggs!! I have ready to go in once these guys are done Serama bantams. Thank you!! yes it was sad. I tried to stimulate it for a while but - not all the yolk was absorbed I hear that can be an issue? BTW yolk absorbsion is an amazing process!! Interesting. So I positioned the two babies like they were cuddled up, wrapped in a towel and hubby burried themCongrats Congrats. You are doing great. I have had more chicks hatch on days 22 & 23 than 21. So those others may still come thru. Either way your doing well. As far as losing some, while it is saddening, it is part of hatching, whether under a broody, in an incubator or in the brooder. It just happens. And look they all dried out! Me luv some fuzz....I really need to order my new incubator. Or get off BYC...one or the other. Anxiously awaiting more pics and news.
