One more hatched just a few minutes ago. (Makes number 4) Seems to have some unabsorbed yoke (not much) but is moving around a lot. It appears to be okay.

2 more hatched through the night! Today is day 23 I may attempt to candle this after noon on the last few eggs. As of now I have had 2 deaths and 6 live chicks. One was upside down. He tried to pip out if the pointy end.

Quick update: I now have 7 live and happy chicks! We decided to candle last night and now we have 3 more who have pipped. I had roughly 20 eggs. 9 of those 20 have hatched with 7 living and 2 who did not make it. Hopefully these next 3 will do better! Our second incubator went into lock down last night. They were all candled before going into lock down and they looked great!! Even though today is day 24 we have decided to give all the eggs a few more days. Husband said he wants to go a full 30 days. So we will see! Thanks to all of your support. It's been great knowing I can come here for help! I will post a picture of the 7 we have so far!

Can't see some of them too well but here they are. The 7 have been named by my children. The last one pictured is "Nugget" and the yellow one before it is "Sonic" however we also have Julia, Jimmy, Lorenzo, Billy Jean and Runt. They named the chick Runt because it is way smaller then the rest! Maybe when they all hatch and we moved them to the Brooder that is outside I will get better pictures. Until they all hatch they are in the house. Also... These chicks were named without knowing Gender so we could have a roo named Julia lol
