I don’t know how to come up with something more predator proof. I’m all alone in this. Anybody have any ideas? Any at all?

People have pics of all different types of pens and coops posted right here on the BYC Forum to help you with ideas. It don't have to be fancy, just predator proof.

@Miss Lydia Will the dog house be okay for the ducks? Or do I need to replace that too? I’ve also got two mallards coming, so whatever I build needs to be able to house 4 birds.

depends how big it is, and it needs a predator proof door and floor. remember chicken wire is meant to hold chickens/ducks in, not keep predators out

According to Amazon, dimensions are 38.5” by 33” by 32”. I do know the bottom is plastic, as is everything else about it.

No. It has some ventilation slits, and a removable roof.

I measured out a slab of wood and bought some hinges and a locking mechanism but never actually added them as I thought doing so would destroy the integrity of the thin plastic walls.
