First Run of Cornish Cross Meat Birds and Super Excited!

One of my Chinese geese has decided to sit on a 1 inch white pvc collar. Guess i will stop taking her eggs. She seems determined and delusional

Eh because she's a preggo... My family jokes and calls other family members preggo... And well she's more then a gf less then a wife so preggo fits I guess
Also we have landed in South Carolina next plane takes us to my homeland( Florida ) for a week

Got up to leave for work at 4:30am this morning and the geese didn't meet me to say bye. Grabbed my flashlight and checked,it looked like a warzone. 22 dead chickens. No geese lost. Found tracks,hard to make out in the dark. Its either a huge coon or a bobcat. 3-1/2 in tracks. Wire was lifted up about 18inchs. Major modifications going into effect today involving electricity and lights. I should have done hooked the electric fence back up. So angry!! I lost Trixie and her sisters, most of the white giants and the white plymouth rocks. It also got a few of the dark cornish. Traps will be going out. I WILL be putting something's hide on a tanning board!!!

JR, You awoke to my nightmare. Everyday I worry I will find that. I am so sorry it happened.

Take revenge on whatever rotten critter did this. Make him pay!

When you get a chance to think everything over let us know your rebuilding plans, who you have left and so on. Again my sympathies.

JR, That's just awful, so sorry. Had a similar finding on a much smaller scale but they wiped out everything I had several months ago. I hope you find the culprit. Good luck!

I have 5 dark cornish left,and 3 white giants two of which are cockrels. Right now im going around the entire pen securing t-posts horizontally along the bottom of fence. Then I'm tying these to posts. The poultry wire is just to flimsy if it's not secured top and bottom. After that the electric wire is going around the pen at ten inches and 3ft. Also installing a 250 watt flood light to illuminate the entire pen. Then its time to build the live trap. I will take a picture of the trap and post when I'm done. And thanks everyone. Its my own fault for becoming complacent in my security measures.
