I thought pullets also. I'd rather have pullets. They may take a little longer to hit the weight but its what I prefer.

They look great!! I've got some that have the spots. To date every one has been a pullet. Drives me crazy not knowing which ones are laying the eggs

Yes all pullets. Keeping them to make Hamsters.

Yes BamBam is my foundation Cockbird. There is a fairshare of his genetics in each bird.
The all white chicks have the "FFA project" CX dad. Their moms are White 3/4 Dark Cornish 1/4 CX.
The Colorful Chicks have a Pure Dark Cornish dad(F1) BamBam sons covering 50%DC-50%CX hens.

Well today is Camp day. I have around 25 free range roosters and some turkeys waiting on the bus. Got all of my containers cleaned up,knifes are sharp and the water is heating.

I'm a little apprehensive about the turkeys. They are smarter than the roosters. They KNOW something is up.
